Abstract:
The deposit is located 45km away from the Tafr town in the coordination of 53 55E and 31 32N. After 200m drilling the reserve was estimated about 25000000tons ore of 0.9% copper. The oxidation zone is between 20-50m thick.
The alteration has acted as typical porphyry copper deposits. Epidotization has occurred at the marginal zone while chlorite is located inward. Silica has occurred as lenses or with disseminated form in a widespread zone between margin and center. The main ore minerals in the cores and surficial samples involve chalcopyrite and zinc sulfide.
