Abstract:
      For the Steinbruchs-Berufsgenossenschaft, “Systematic Safety” stands for an effective and efficient implementation of work safety management in companies from the entire aggregatesand mining industry. Both the Systematic Safety manual and the digital version Systematic Safety.digital serve as preparation for the building up of a systematic organisation of work safety. These media are a particularly valuable support for small companies in creating a structured and comprehensible organisation. For the further optimization or confirmation of the work safety management structure, companies in the aggregates industry have the opportunity to partake in the “Systematic Safety” quality seal procedure. On a voluntary basis, the companies have the opportunity to allow their organisation of work and health safety to be inspected and evaluated by the Steinbruch trade association, which acts in the role of a neutral body. If weaknesses are detected in the organisation or the operational implementation in the course of this evaluation, suggestions on how to correct these faults are submitted to the company. Thanks to this, the entire organisation of work safety is optimized, whereby the risk of accidents and operating malfunctions is demonstrably reduced considerably. Operational efficiency increases and unnecessary costs can be avoided. In addition to the contents of the “Systematic Safety” manual and the digital version “Systematic Safety.digital” and the work aids contained therein, the article describes in particular the steps of the procedure according to the “Systematic Safety” quality seal principles.
